Trio Plagued Union County With Robberies, Carjacking: Prosecutor

Three men have been arrested and charged in one carjacking and a string of armed robberies that plagued residents in Union County.

Alfred Pierre, 37, and Daron Thomas, 32, were arrested on Tuesday, April 4 and charged with multiple counts of robbery, aggravated assault and weapons offenses, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel announced. A third suspect, Isaiah Barret, was previously arrested last December.

Pierre and Thomas were charged for five armed robberies between Dec. 2022 and Jan. 2023, Daniel said. Investigators also identified them as the perpetrators in a January carjacking in Linden, Daniel said.
